Union Dues Payment Methods

Effective March 1, 2023 LiUNA Local 900 will accept monthly dues payments by cheque, cash or E-Transfer.

To use the E-Transfer option the following steps MUST be followed in order to ensure that your payment is processed correctly.  If the steps are not followed correctly resulting in the payment not being applied to your account due to incorrect information required during the payment submission, and a membership suspension occurs due to unpaid monthly dues, the readmission fee will be applicable, no exceptions.

To complete an E-Transfer, members MUST follow the following steps:

The first time you use this feature, when logged into your online bank account select Send an Interac E-Transfer then “Add Interac E-Transfer Recipient and select Interac E-Transfer Recipient from the drop-down menu.  Enter the amount you are going to pay and click next.  This is where you will enter Recipient’s contact details – LiUNA900 and enter the following email address: dues900@nb.aibn.com
Once that is complete, make sure you check mark (✔) the box next to add to payee list; once you click next you will review the Interac E-Transfer details that you have input. 

You should not be asked to create a security question, however, if you are prompted to create a security question and answer use the following:  Security Question: what is this payment for; the security answer: dues.  In the message box ensure you state the members name and the last four (4) digits of the members social insurance number.

When sending your E-Transfer, it is imperative that you indicate the member’s full name and last four (4) digits of the member’s social insurance number in the message box.  You must indicate this information every time an E-Transfer is sent.  These steps ensure that your payment is applied to the correct member.

If you are unable to send E-Transfers as an automatic deposit, you will be unable to use the E-Transfer option.
